BUFFALO: The Norsemen acquired two more former National Leaguers from the Sabres and Toros (they already had Guy Trottier and Steve Atkinson).
From Toronto came goaltender Les Binkley, a veteran of five years in the NHL and three in the WHA. Binkley is 41 years old and coming off of a knee injury, but he should lend a steadying hand to young netminders Peter Crosbie and Bill Cheropita.
