“THIS INDENTURE, Made this First day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty-nine, BETWEEN Jesse F. Locke of the Town of Wheatfield in the County of Niagara & State of New York of the first part, and John Chadwick of the same place of the second part, WITNESSETH, That the said part (y) of the first part, in consideration of the sum of Fifteen Hundred & Fifty dollars to him duly paid, has sold and by these presents do grant and convey to the said part of the second part, his heirs and assigns, ALL that Tract or parcel of Land situate in the Town of Wheatfield County and State aforesaid and known & described as the East part of Lot Ten in Township Twelve and Range Eight of the Hollands Lands Purchase so called and
