Title

Solomon G. Haven to Thomas Bolton, deed (1840-09-14).jpg

Description

Haven sells his other half of Lot 10 5 years after selling the first. The consideration was $1,000, which is much higher than the earlier Roop half-interest price of $312.75 and higher than the 1836 Willink-to-Haven whole-lot consideration/mortgage figure. That may reflect improvements, speculation, changed valuation, or some larger financial context not visible in this deed.
